Job Profile: To edit text, give headlines, paraphrase, and put up content on moneycontrol.com. The desired candidate should possess sound editing skills and acquaintance with capital markets and financial jargon will be an advantage. We are looking for a team player, an individual who can add clarity and flair to stories
A copy test will be administered to all candidates.
Qualifications
- Any graduate
- Journalism experience is essential
- Experience of working in a real-time news environment in desirable
- Solid understanding of banking and finance markets
- Proven track record of editing business stories.
2Reporters and senior reporters:
Experience: 2 - 5 years
Job Profile: To report on markets, sectors, personal finance, mutual funds and related topics that will be uploaded on moneycontrol.com. Clippings of articles already published should be sent.
Candidates should have good knowledge of financial markets and a proven ability to access important market players, including brokers, fund managers and corporate CEOS and CFOs for soundbytes and quotes. We are looking for a team player, an individual who can add clarity and flair to stories.
Qualifications
- Masters/bachelors in Economics, Commerce or MBA, CFA
- Journalism experience is essential
- Experience of working in a real-time news environment in desirable

3Software Engineer:
Experience:
Job Profile: Design and develop backend and frontend systems in LAMP·
HTML/PHP/DHTML/XHTML/CSS and AJAX/JSON experience with frameworks like JQuery.Experience with complex SQL queries and database schema design & optimization techniques is a must.Strong hands-on experience is a must and coding is expected.Ability to manage complex technical projects.The candidate must have good web application development knowledge.Works well in fast-paced growing environment.Excellent communication and team-building skills.Strong attention to detail.
